We have chosen to have a very civil ceremony and have arranged to do this at the government building (Tinghus) in Skien. We will have a reception afterwards in Porsgrunn.

Porsgrunn and Skien are very close together. As the train stations are conveniently placed, we had thought to use the train to move between the two towns.

We have reserved a number of rooms, both singles and doubles, at a hotel close to where the reception will be held. The hotel is called Hotel Vic and we think it’s very nice. Bookings should be made through us. We’re told a double room can accommodate up to four people at a push.
